MWFs (Metalworking Fluids)
Metalworking fluids (MWFs) are used in metalworking to cool the cutting zone, reduce friction, lubricate the contact between the tool and workpiece, and remove machining debris from the working area.
The Novohim range includes water-miscible synthetic, semi-synthetic and oil-containing MWFs, conventional emulsifiable oils, as well as ready-to-use neat oils.
Depending on the operation, MWFs can be selected for turning, milling, drilling, grinding, threading, honing, band saw machines, and other metalworking processes.
Specialized products are available for machining copper and its alloys, heavy-duty cutting operations, local application, stone processing, and use in unheated facilities at low temperatures.
When selecting a water-miscible MWF, it is important to consider not only the machining operation but also the workpiece material, machining load, water quality, working concentration, and condition of the circulation system.
