Application

The solution prepared from standard titres is used in chemical analysis to determine the quality of raw materials, products, control over production processes.

In addition, it is used in laboratory conditions, where the neutralisation method based on the reaction of interaction of H+andOHˉ ions is applied.
Potassium iodide fixanal is designed for quick and convenient preparation of a solution with a set concentration required for titrometric analysis.
The ready solution of potassium chloride standard titre can be used repeatedly.

The potassium iodide solution obtained from fixanal has a precisely defined volume and molar concentration of 0.100+0.001 mol/dm3 equivalents

To obtain fixanal solution, the preparation is poured into a laboratory flask, distilled water at 20°C is added to it and thoroughly mixed. Then the obtained solution is brought with distilled water to the volume of 1000 cm3 and mixed again.
