The solution prepared from standard titre is used in chemical analysis for determination of raw materials, composition of by-products, control of production processes, in determination of iron ions.

According to the standard, each vial contains a precisely defined amount of the substance.

Therefore, by dissolving the contents of the vial in a measuring flask, it is possible to obtain the required standard quantity of solution of exact concentration. For example, ammonium chloride fixanal provides 1 litre of solution with a concentration of 0.1 M.

Ammonium chloride solution obtained from fixanal has a precisely defined volume and molar concentration of equivalent 0.100+0.001 mol/dm3

To obtain the fixanal solution, the preparation is poured into a laboratory flask, distilled water at a temperature of 20°C is added to it and thoroughly mixed. Then the obtained solution is brought with distilled water to the volume of 1000 cm3 and mixed again.
