KOKIDO pool tester is – test kit for determining pH, chlorine and bromine levels in pool water. The kit also includes additional liquid reagents and two flasks with lids.

How can I determine water pH, chlorine and bromine content with a pool tester?

We take two test tubes from the tester set and fill them with water from the pool at a depth of 40-45 cm from the water surface.
Add 4 drops of one of the two liquid reagents (indicator dyes) included in the pool tester to each of the tubes.
Cap both test tubes and shake the liquids for 5 seconds.
Compare the colour of the water in the test tubes with the colour on the comparison scale (pH, Cl, Br)

The normative content of active chlorine in the pool is 0.6mg/l.

The ideal hydrogen value (pH) ranges from 7.2- to 7.6.

Bromine levels are between 1.2 and 2mg/l.
