Chemical substances may be:
• toxic;
• corrosive;
• flammable;
• hazardous upon contact with skin, eyes or inhalation of vapours.
For self-delivery or delivery organised by the buyer:
• transportation shall be carried out exclusively in sealed factory packaging;
• packaging must be securely fastened and protected from tipping over;
• it is prohibited to transport chemicals in the passenger compartment of a car;
• it is prohibited to transfer, open containers or manipulate the product in any way during transport;
• the buyer is solely responsible for complying with and fulfilling the requirements of the Rules for the Transport of Dangerous Goods.
The warehouse premises are a restricted-access facility for the storage of chemical substances.
The following is prohibited on the premises:
• moving containers or cargo independently;
• being on the premises without the permission of warehouse employees;
• ignoring the instructions of personnel;
• remaining on the premises after loading is complete.
Warehouse employees act in accordance with internal health and safety instructions.
• Loaders ensure that goods are delivered to the loading area.
• Goods are placed in the vehicle in accordance with safety requirements.
• The requirements of warehouse employees are mandatory.
If the customer refuses to comply with staff requirements, loading may be stopped.
The buyer is obliged to ensure:
• storage in dry, ventilated rooms;
• protection from heat and direct sunlight;
• inaccessibility to unauthorised persons and children;
• storage in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations and safety data sheet.
Chemical products may only be used:
• for their intended purpose;
• with personal protective equipment;
• in accordance with technical instructions and recommendations.
Any misuse or unqualified use is at the buyer’s own risk and responsibility.
The buyer is obliged to comply with the current legislation of Ukraine, in particular:
• Rules for the transport of dangerous goods;
• DSTU and technical regulations;
• Occupational health and safety and fire safety requirements.
The company is not responsible for:
• violation by the buyer of the rules of transportation, storage or use;
• damage caused by failure to comply with safety requirements;
• actions of third parties after the transfer of goods to the buyer.
The fact of purchasing the goods means that the buyer is familiar with these rules, accepts and complies with them in full.
The buyer is obliged to independently, prior to receiving the goods:
• study the hazardous properties of the purchased chemicals;
• familiarise themselves with their physical and chemical characteristics, hazard classes and restrictions;
• assess possible hazardous interactions between chemicals;
• check the admissibility of joint transportation of several chemical products in one vehicle.
The company does not assess the compatibility of substances transported by the buyer at the same time and is not responsible for the consequences of their joint transportation.
When collecting or transporting chemical products, the buyer is obliged to ensure:
• that the packaging is properly labelled in accordance with the requirements of current legislation;
• that factory labels and warning signs are intact;
• the availability of a minimum set of personal protective equipment in the vehicle (gloves, safety glasses, other PPE, depending on the hazard class of the substance);
• compliance with safety requirements for the transport of dangerous goods.
The absence of labelling or personal protective equipment constitutes a violation of safety requirements and may be grounds for refusal to ship.
The company shall not be liable for:
• incorrect assessment by the buyer of the hazardous properties of chemicals;
• incompatible or dangerous joint transportation of various chemical products;
• lack of PPE or necessary equipment on the part of the buyer;
• violation of labelling, transportation and safety requirements after the transfer of goods.
