How to effectively use technical detergents
Washing is a process that accompanies us in life quite often in various variations. For some, these are everyday situations, such as cleaning the house or caring for a home pool. And for many, this is an everyday workflow at large machine-building plants and metallurgical plants.
There is a fairly large range of detergents and cleaners on the Ukrainian market. However, unfortunately there are situations when technical detergent is not effective and frankly does not cope with the tasks. Let’s look at several non-standard washing options, which detergents will be effectively used for certain types of washing work.
How to clean a pool strong>
A common task faced by owners of private pools is cleaning the walls of the pool. If there is significant calcareous contamination, mucus or greenery on the pool bowl, then it is necessary to take measures to clean them. To do this, it is possible to invite specialists or wash the pool with your own hands.
Firstly, you need to completely drain the water, then without delaying until the joints are completely dry (relevant for pools with ceramic tiles) start the cleaning process . This is due to the fact that wet tile joints will suffer less from chemicals.
Next, you need to proceed depending on the type of pollution. If it is predominantly limestone and plaque, then acid-based products come into play. For example, a solution of hydrochloric acid 13%. When washing, it is important to follow the safety precautions for working with aggressive chemicals – use rubber gloves and goggles. mushrooms, herbs, algae, then in this case it is better to use a special remedy for algae and fungi – algicide.
After the washing stage is completed, fill the pool bowl with water and prepare it in accordance with the recommendations in the article at the link:
Cleaning soot and soot
We recommend washing such difficult stains as the effects of fire or soot using alkaline detergents with the addition of surfactants for their maximum activation. For example, it will be effective to wash the soot with a low-temperature agent NMS-95 with a high alkali content. With the same tool, you can productively wash the engine from soot or the ceiling from soot.
Public transport wash
For internal and external washing of railway vehicles, passenger cars and their windows, car repair companies prefer to use acid and alkaline technical detergents.
How are the cars washed? If the pollution is complex and abundant (corrosive deposits, oil-oil stains, etc.), then acid solutions are used. For example, based on oxalic or sulfamic acid. If it is necessary to clean dirt and dust debris, then alkaline or neutral detergent compositions.
Cleaning sewer pipes
A story from my own recent experience. A common problem is a complex blockage in the pipeline, such as a stuck rag or other debris, in our case it was a rag. In such a situation, a conventional drug, such as “Mole” may not be able to cope with the blockage. We tried to pour caustic soda solution into the pipe, but the result was zero.
What’s the best way to clean the sewers then?
It will be effective to use a 13% hydrochloric acid solution with technical liquid soap with surfactants added to it, which can be bought in the online store of chemical reagents Novokhim. It is important that the soap contains special surfactants for maximum cleaning power.
After we poured this solution into the pipe and waited 5 minutes, our rag flew out like a cork from a bottle. So we are happy to share the recipe.
Recommended aspect ratio:
Pour 500g of hydrochloric acid 13% into a 10l canister. technical liquid soap.
Washing parts made of ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
Technical detergents are also used to degrease and wash parts, assemblies, mechanisms at machine-building and metallurgical enterprises. The choice of detergent primarily depends on the type of washing (immersion or jet) and the type of dirt.
For jet-type washing machines we recommend using NMS-95 with antifoam or labomid 101.
For washing in immersion baths difficult oil and oil pollution, bitumen, grease, etc. easily laundered :
1. for cast iron, aluminium, steel, ceramics and glass – HMS-95 with increased detergency or HMS-95
2. for cast iron and steel – NMS-95-1, NMS-95 with a high alkali content.
