Solvent for printing inks / solvent RFD / TK

Description and Characteristics:

• RFD-2 is an alcohol-based solvent that consists of three components.
• Volatile substance with water content not exceeding 0.03%.
• Personal protective equipment must be used when working with RFD solvent.

Appearance:

RFD solvent has the appearance of a colourless liquid. May have a light yellow tint. It has a specific odour of ethyl acetate. Industrial production of solvent for flexo printing is made by mixing alcohol, ethyl acetate and water in certain proportions

Packaging, transport and storage:

RFD-2 solvent is packed at the manufacturing plant in metal barrels of 200 litres each. Solvent for flexo printing is transported by railway transport in covered wagons or by motor vehicles in covered vehicles with observance of normative documents on transportation of dangerous goods. RFD-2 solvent is stored in the manufacturer’s packaging in covered warehouses away from aggressive substances and protected from humidity and direct sources of fire and light.
