Potassium bisulphate / Potassium hydrosulphate

Appearance:

Potassium bisulfate is a white powder. Potassium bisulfate is obtained by the interaction of potassium sulfate or caustic potassium and sulfuric acid.

Description and characteristics:

Potassium bisulfate is an inorganic substance, a derivative of potassium salt and sulfuric acid.
It has good solubility in water, insoluble in ethyl alcohol and acetone.
It interacts with alkalis and metal salts.
Melting point 210C, and decomposes with further increase in temperature

Packaging, transportation and storage:

Potassium sulfate sour is packed at the manufacturing plant in paper or polypropylene bags with a liner. Potassium sulfate is transported by rail in covered wagons or by road in covered vehicles. Potassium bisulfate is stored in the original packaging in covered warehouses, protected from moisture and well ventilated.
