Etching paste is intended for treatment of stainless steel welds in the zone of thermal influence

Advantages of using pickling paste:

1. Removes contaminants and corrosion in the weld zone.
2. Eliminates harmful effects of high temperatures after welding and machining of metal.
3. Restores the passive layer on the metal surface
4. Allows to restore corrosion protection on treated surfaces.

Instructions for use of pickling paste

Before processing, the contaminated weld must be cleaned of foreign contaminants (oil, paint, etc.). Then brush the pickling paste evenly onto the weld seam.

Exposure time of the paste 10-30 min (more is possible, depending on soiling) at temperatures from 20 to 30°C. Then rinse off with water. If necessary, it is allowed to apply the paste repeatedly.

Average consumption: 1kg of pickling paste per 150-250 m.p of weld.
