Ethylacetate externally is a volatile liquid (it is mobile and colourless). It has an unpleasant sweet smell similar to acetone, but not so caustic. The melting point of ethyl acetate is 83.6°C, it boils at 77.1°C. It is easily soluble in water. Easily soluble in water. It can form double azeotropic mixtures with water, namely in chloroform, ethanol, benzene, diethyl ether.

Storage and transport:

Storage: from the date of manufacture ethyl acetate can be stored for six months. It should be stored in a warehouse or in equipped metal containers, observing the rules of storage of flammable substance.
