Transportation and storage requirements:

Potassium chromate alum is a toxic, fire and explosion hazardous substance. When working with potassium chromium sulphate, use personal protective equipment – respirator, goggles, suit and gloves.

Potassium chromium alum is packed at the manufacturing plant in polypropylene or paper bags with a polyethylene liner, the standard packing weight of which is 25 kg. Potassium chromium sulphate should be stored in its original packaging in closed warehouses equipped with forced ventilation systems, protected from moisture and light.

It is recommended to transport potassium chromium alum by covered rail or road transport, subject to the rules and regulations for the carriage of goods applicable to these types of transport.
