Application of the Separating Agent

IMPORTANT!!! It is recommended to use working solutions of Separen with water as in too viscous state means loses its effective pouring properties, worsens concrete surface and form cleanness.

Dilute by experience until a layer of desired density is obtained.

Instructions for use of Separen.

Separen can be applied with a roller, brush or spray gun. Concrete should be added to the mould only after the applied layer has dried and a film of Separen has formed.

The release agent can be used as a concentrate or aqueous solution. Depending on the type of moulds and working conditions, it can be diluted with water in the ratio of 1:1 or up to 1:3, as decided by the technologist. After adding water, the solution should be thoroughly mixed.

IMPORTANT:
The amount of water is selected experimentally, taking into account temperature, humidity and peculiarities of the formwork material.

Application:

1. Apply to a clean, dry formwork surface in a thin, even layer using a brush, roller or sprayer.
2. Allow to stand for 30-60 seconds until wet sheen disappears.
3. Be sure to: wipe the surface with a damp sponge or soft cloth. This removes excess and polishes the thin layer of wax phase.
4. Concrete can be laid immediately after drying.

Result:
After drying, a thin, glossy, water-repellent film is formed which:
– will not be washed off by rain,
– does not give white stains on the concrete,
– does not affect the surface quality of the product.
